An amazing text-led animated video for a presentation video for global automotive tech solutions company Keyloop
Briefed to create a hard-hitting text-led video (akin to Apple: Don't Blink and Honda: Keep Up) I worked closely with the Mighty Giant team to source the right style of music and provide beat maps to work to, laying the foundations to bring in a bespoke music edit which perfectly synced with the visuals.
This project was made as part of the Parent's Toolkit BBC Mindfulness Campaign.
I worked in conjunction with Tracks & Layers to deliver music editing and sound design services for two videos as part of the campaign.
These videos are currently up for nomination for best animation at the Manchester Publicity Association Awards.
As part of their own R&D Mighty Giant wanted to focus on the creative block and the effect when an idea comes to life, whilst exploring new design ideas and concepts.
The music edit played a key role in shaping the energy of this piece.
I’m often given music tracks that, when placed linearly against the film, lack the necessary impact. Through experienced editing and creative insight, I can transform a good track into one that perfectly enhances the edit and engages the audience.
For their 2024 rebrand, Mighty Giant commissioned me to blend two contrasting music tracks for their new showreel, creating distinct sections to keep the audience engaged and showcase their work in varied lights.
A dedicated music edit allows the audio to interact dynamically with the visuals, enhancing the overall impact.
A short animation depicting the journey of a young girl displaced by conflict, illustrating how her hopes and dreams fade alongside her childhood, while highlighting Save The Children's efforts to everyone; 'Great and Small'.
The sound design is vital in enhancing the movement and narrative of the story.
