‘Firefly’ continues to do well at major UK film festivals!

This brilliant little short (which can be watched here) follows the story of a deaf girl who has to live with an increasingly abusive step-mum after her Dad moves away to work on an oil rig.

The sound design and audio post-production were pivotal in crafting the film’s soundtrack, immersing the audience in Frankie’s world and conveying her unique perspective.

In this post we can see some one the techniques used to create the internal perspective sounds used for Frankie.

The post-production process for this film presented unique challenges, making its success all the more gratifying. It’s a pleasure to see it receive the recognition it deserves! Bring on the next one!
